And is there any team out there like the Redskins dumb enough to pay much at all for him?

No. The Deadskins just paid a fortune for that dumbass from Pittsburgh and nobody else is that dumb. Except for the Faiders, but Hall isn't old enough.

dunno ... but returners aren't normally big trade value unless they have value at another position.

jets traded a returner to washington a couple years ago ..... but that's the only one i can remember.

Christ.

How about we get some real blocking for Dante on special teams so we won't have to entertain thoughts like these, ok?

I figured they might want to acquire the "consensus" best kick returner in the NFL

I'm sick of his bullshit. It's costing us precious field position. We have an offense capable of scoring points, it's not like we need extra help from his dumbass antics.

Not only is it costing us field position, but I'm just sick of having whiny Vermeil bitches on this team. The offense is great, but I want absolutely no traces of Vermeil on this team by next season.

How many trades per year do you see in the NFL? Three? Four?

No. Hall has ZERO trade value. Not even worth a 7th rounder.

I may have this wrong. Tampa has gone without either a punt return or kickoff for a touchdown in their history. Maybe that WR that slapped Warfield around is available,

Mr. Laz

i imagine we could probably get a 5th round pick for him.

Seriously?

He's throwing fits because he's getting nothing to work with on his returns. I'm not going to hold him to the fire for that.

Now, if this thread is meant to vent how you're sick of watching him glare down teammates and get personal fouls because he's getting no holes to run through, then I'm with you. He needs to stop acting out in the field, and get into his teammates during film review.

Does that go for Green as well?

i don't really agree with that ...

i've seen Hall pass up several running lane on the inside because of his desperate need to run for the sideline.

he doesn't want to get whacked anymore, so he looks for the first open route to the sideline.

We all bitch and moan about Hall and then he will bust a return and we will love him again. Thats the life of a returner in the NFL.

Yeah and throw those special teams players in there with him...

You know the ones, the ones that offer such big holes or even a glimmer of light for someone to run through....

Then you might have something......

Until then get used to nobody returning anything for the Chiefs....

Has anyone thought about having Congress look into the issue?

Morton got signed as a restricted free agent...he wasn't traded..

In keeping with my theory that the truth is usually in the middle, it seems obvious that the return teams arent as tight as they used to be and are whiffing on blocks we've made in the past and that has to affect Dante's returns.

The other side of it, is that the blockers arent muffing the handle & letting live balls take potentially disastrous bounces the way Dante has seemingly all year. He has to be held to account for these rick-diculous gaffes.

If he can straighten that crap up & the wedge guys can tighten up he might return to form.

But he's useless unless he cleanly fields it & hangs onto it, no matter what the blockers do.

fair enough ... i thought there was some kind of trade involved

maybe i'm getting mixed up when they traded Moss and Cole around

Man do I miss Gary Stills. He was a big part of all his special team returns.

The only reason Hall would have trade value is if he scored a return TD in all of his remaining games. If he did that, everybody in KC would return on his bandwagon and he wouldn't get traded. No way Hall will EVER be traded...unless Dick Vermeil starts coaching again.

No way Hall will EVER be traded...unless Dick Vermeil starts coaching again.Vermeil doesn't want to tear apart the teams he helped build.

Remember the 2002 offseason? We didn't even go after Az Hakim or Dre Bly and after that Isaac Bruce because Vermeil didn't want to tear apart the Rams. Although the way Hakim and Bly play now, that now appears to be a brilliant non-move by Carl

Not sure if anyone heard 810, but the guys on 810 were saying yesterday that a pacifier and a diaper showed up in Dante's locker yesterday

Maybe he'll get the message.

It's not the fact that he's not returning TD's......it's the fact that he's doing really really stupid shit like fumbling balls constantly.

He's done nothing but act like a little bitch this entire year, I don't care how bad your blocking is you suck it up and be a man.

Dante will bust out on some big runs this weekend-he is way overdue.

I think he retires a Chief.

Trade deadline is gone. But in the offseason, I'd say yes. He has trade value if you really want a 6th or 7th round pick. I'd think a lot of teams with better ST coaching and consistency would pick him up in a heartbeat.

Dante Hall would probably get reamed by some ST coaches......he seems to think he doesn't need to follow any sort of blocking anymore.

Wallcrawler

Dante is trying to do too much with too little.

He needs better blocking, for starters. Anyone who disputes that fact hasnt been watching the games.

Hall's mistakes are not fielding the ball cleanly and trying to get too creative. Way too much dancing and going backwards this season instead of just hitting the wedge and getting as much as he can.

Special teams coaches around the league would nuthook Dante Hall for how many times he has ran backward this year on returns, and gotten absolutely nothing out of it. He had that one big return against Denver where he went backwards, and now he's trying to do it every time.

If he just cuts out that bullshit, and reigns in that 12 year old attitude he's been displaying this year, I think he still has something to offer the Chiefs.

As for trade value, heh. No. He's not a good wide receiver due to height and durability problems. He's a return specialist. And when he isnt even doing that part of his job that well, youre not going to get much out of him in trade.

I think he's an underrated WR, personally...

He catches the ball and is often open.
