and I asked him if they were already done with practice.

He said, "coach gave us the day off today."

I asked him if that was typical after a loss, and he said,

"no, we usually have to practice Monday after we lose, but this way we can get some Christmas shopping done.

Sounds to me like they've already given up on the season as well...

You should have captured him so he couldn't play.

He wouldn't have put up much of a fight , I bet.

Could he pick out a gift by himself? Or did it require a double team?

no, he picked them out but Jason Dunn was there to help him pay for them (picking up the majority of the bill)...

I had a couple of 'sparks' toward some kind of witty retort. But each time, I let the spark futter away, because the words above are pretty much all I want to say about anything Chiefs related, short of 'xxx shown the door,' 'yyy on the trading block,' 'CP resigns in disgrace,' etc.

You should have told him he would be a ProBowl Offensive Guard...in the CFL.

Please tell me he wasn't shopping with a cart.
I'd hate to see him try to push it down the aisle, only to have the cart pancake him.

Did anyone notice Jordan got himself a sack yesterday? Trent was trying to escape and Jordan contained him.

Can anyone think of one good reason why they would have today off after the showing yesterday and going to SD this week?
