Sean Jensen, of the Pioneer Press, reports Minnesota Vikings FB Jeff Dugan signed a five-year contract extension worth up to $4.275 million. Dugan earned a $700,000 signing bonus and can earn an additional $50,000 in workout bonuses every offseason. The deal includes base salaries of $525,000 (2007), $625,000 (2008), $675,000 (2009), $725,000 (2010) and $775,000 (2011).

I'm pretty pleased with the work Wilson is doing at FB. His blocking has gotten a lot better and he is a very nice receiving weapon out of the backfield.

He got injured and went on IR for Minnesota. Dugan has played well in his absence.

Lets not stop there how about Willie Lanier coming back and kicking Kawicka to the curb, or Otis Taylor playing alongside Carlos Carson, John Alt would make a nice book end opposite Roaf, Neil Smith looks to be in pretty good shape and James Hasty and Albert Lewis and Deron Cherry.................................
