View Full Version : Who's still on our roster from the 2000-2006 Drafts?

2000- Hall, Wesley, Bartee (Hall may be the only one left after this season)
2001- No one
2002-Sims (on the way out)
2003-LJ, Mitchell, Black
2004-Parker, Allen,Fox, Sampson, Wilson
2005-DJ, Colquitt, Svitek, Grigsby
2006-Hali, Pollard, Croyle, Webb, Stallings, Page, Maxey (everyone of our picks made the team!)

2000 was not great, but 2001 and 2002 were complete disasters. We finally starting seeing some progress starting in 2003 by picking strong contributors to this team and this year's draft is probably the best in a decade if you consider that we were 10-6 last year.

I believe we have a good chance of being even in a better position in next year's draft due to the fact we will have a 9-7 or worse record. If Herm and CP can have even half the success of the 2006 draft in 2007 then this will bode well for our ability to stay competitive in our division and in the AFC.

your mom is like the NFL draft ... everybody gets a turn, they go at her for 2 days straight until everyone is so tired that they no longer care what happens at the end.

let me help you....

Your mom is like an NFL draft....throughout the previous year 32 teams lose to each other so they can have first dibs on her, once the selection order has been established teams trade up and down just for the right to not have the last poke, each round has 32 teams that compare notes and try to pick the best fit, and in the end it doesnt matter what number you are you'll get your turn with her and everything after the first one is considered last.

The Chiefs traded away their 1st and 2nd round picks in 2001, traded away their 3rd round pick in 2002, traded away their 1st round pick in 2004, and their 2nd round pick in 2005. This has been a huge recurring problem for the Cheifs. As soon as they quit doing this their draft record will improve.

Your mom will be on my rooster for the next few years...I had 7 roosters on my roster, well, until last night.

I cut two of them, they were no longer worthy to be on the team.

Your mom is like the NFL draft. Everyone looks forward to her, and can't wait, even Chris Berman wants his shot. Everyone mocks her until they turn blue, and then she shows up and everyone is wrong because all 32 teams trade her arround and reach arround for picks. Some reach quickly, others dilly and dally arround taking all of their time on her. After 32 picks, she gets it in the end for the second day, and then it is in her end as it is ended because the second day is really crappy for her, if you know what I mean.

And the Chiefs are always reaching for an unecessary position.

2002 - we traded up for Sims, thus giving up a 3rd round pick.

2004 was for trading down, we got Siavii and Parker out of that deal.

WTF are you talking about?

2004 is a freakin bonanza compare to many Chief's drafts

2004

Parker - starting ... should probably be a #3
Allen - productive starter ... might be best player on defense
Fox - special teams/part-time starter ... might be full-time next year
Sampson - would be a starter if he wasn't such a injury prone pussy
Wilson- become a solid starter at H-Back

all productive except for that pussy Sampson
