1,000 posts and nearly a year of visiting this board daily has shown me a few things...

1. I learned that I'm not the only die hard Chiefs fan that has the feeling of great optimisim every year before football season but always has that little voice in the back of my head saying, "It's hopeless and you know it. The Chiefs will do above average but blow it at crunch time." Oh well, what are you going to do?

2. There is a great feeling of community on this board. Whenever someone has a serious personal issue, you all always show great support. (Well there's always that n00b who has an idiotic comment I guess but that doesen't count).

3. When I first started posting on this site, the Mod's never gave me too much crap which I thought was pretty cool, I personally think they run it quite well.

4. Don't ask for too much personal advice: you usually get a picture of a bottle of anti-freeze.

5. Bodilly waste in food can be funny.

6. Some of you really need to get some. (Horny bastards)

7. Mooo is a lying s.o.b.

8. Don't ever say you're going on a date with a Chiefs player and not expect to get some sh*t. (Still one of my favorite threads.)

9. Skip is an old hippie and one funny bastard.

10. Judgement threads (Rainman) can be a source of entertainment for days and days.

11. Taco John...well I'll leave that alone.

12. You all can be extremely accepting of fans from other teams which amazes me, as long as they don't rub it in too much when they are more successful than the Chiefs.

13. The off-season can be the best time to view some funny crap on this site.

14. You all better know the difference between Then and Than.

15. Medical problems: I must have seen a dozen threads about leaking anuses, roids, infected genitallia and venarials. (All pretty funny)

16. Owned pic's are great...feel free to share some new ones.

17. Redrum, leave our moms alone. Get some younger pie.

In retrospect, I thouroughly enjoy visitng this site daily. I have an extremely stressfull job which probably would have put me in the hospital by now if I didn't take a half-hour each day to stop and read what Chiefsplanet has in store for me. I thank you all for giving me that each day.

Nothing random about it.

He's learned a lot, but he hasn't yet learned to count beyond 17.

The word association thread is also perfect for that purpose.

That's true, I should have been more specific. These threads are a great place to meaninglessly boost your post count...

...but then again, that would imply that I actually had a meaningful post at some point.

:)

Maybe if the Chiefs scored more than 17 a game he'd learn.
