I had a dream the other night that I was working at the Writing Center on campus and Jerry Markbreit came in for help on a paper he was writing. I refused to offer him any advice until he told me why they called that holding penalty on Manusky during the FG attempt and why they didn't require the Donkey lineman to change their jerseys. Man, I f*cking hate that guy.

At the risk of sounding pedantic: the playoffs are not in the regular season.

Yeah, he was also the ref for our 1990 playoff game against the Dolphins when his phantom holding call on Szott took us out of Lowery's range.

Along with Elway, Sharpe, Romanowski, and maybe Grbac, he's on my top-5 list of most hated figures in the NFL.

Not really, it was the last time we had a "complete" team.

IN some ways, we are still recovering from that loss and the 95 Colts playoff loss.

Yes, things do change, but at One Arrowhead Drive, they don't change nearly enough.

I honestly believe this game was the beginning of the end. I don't think the franchise has ever recovered from Grbac's pathetic attempt at a 2 minute offense at the end. I can still see that clueless expression on his face when he claimed he couldn't hear the plays in the headset. ****!!! ****!!! ****!!! ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
