I believe the bottom will drop out next year... it will be ugly. Hopefully after that Herm is fired and Carl steps down.
After that I give the new coach at least 2 seasons to turn it around, if not 3.

This is one of the first years in many that I feel like we are completely SOL for the near future. We no longer have several building blocks, and for all practical purposes, have essentially lost several on offense, including Roaf, Shields, Green, Tait Holmes and Gonzales. Those players have either left, retired (or will be), or passes their prime. Most are players that you simply don't replace overnight. The short-term attempt at slapping a defense together for our once-great offense is too old, and full of holes as well. Reparing this team will take way more savvy and eye for talent than Carl "You've overstayed your welcome by over 10 years" Peterson could ever think of providing.

We will be worse next year i beleive. To many holes to fil. So i say around 2009. Going to be a rough next few years around here.

Me thinks we miss next year too, earliest is 2008.

I think if they do it correctly, 2008 is a reasonable goal. But if they do it like the last 18 years, it won't happen until Carl is gone. I think there needs to be more years as a poll option.
