Is it just me, or have we had more Pro Bowl players per year in recent history, than any other team that has accomplished so little?

Obviously they have all been on offense, but it pi$$es me off to think Peterson is sitting on his butt at One Arrowhead thinking what a great personell guy he is.

You suck Carl!

Actually this is our fewest amount of Pro Bowl players since Vermeil's first year in 2001.

In the last nine years, we have 1 playoff apperance, but 37 Pro Bowl appearances.

As the Chiefs fans slowly pull back the curtain and expose the circus that Carl "P.T. Barnum" has perpetrated on Kansas City.

"Step right up and see Priest Holmes, the man with the bruised spinal cord, play in 2007! Tickets only $90.00, but act fast, there's a really long waiting list! Come one, come all!!"

Most of those Pro Bowl appreances came from 3 Hall of Famers and whoever ran the ball behind them.

O-linemen are legacy picks.

The whole thing is a joke. granted I am biased towrds the Jets but John Lynch made it and Kerry Rhodes did not? Kerry Rhodes should be All pro let alone pro bowl. Oh well. Congrats on the 4 anyway!

Lynch hasn't played at a Pro Bowl level for years, yet always makes it. Warren Sapp made it quite a few times after his play went to shit. To be perfectly honest Shields' play this year hasn't been near Pro Bowl caliber, and I'm not sure Waters' has been either for the limited play he's had.

It's mostly a popularity contest, and outside of the skill positions, people pick the names they know regardless of play in that particular year.

I guess we will never have to worry about Herm coaching in the Pro Bowl will we?

I'm not sure if our linemen really deserve it either, but I'm guessing most people just see that LJ is 2nd in the league in rushing, so they pick our big name linemen.

Its no worse than the MLB All-Star game or any other professional sports All-Star game.

Its always going to be a popularity contest. In all honesty, its probably the MOST meaningless of all the All-Star contests and thats saying something considering how meaningless all the rest of them are to.

The players only care about it because of contract bonus's if they make it in a nice vacation for their families in Feb.

I couldnt care less about the Pro-Bowl, the last one i watched all the way through was when Faulk tore it up as a Colt.

The Romo pick is a flat out joke.

No, not really. It was slim pickings for NFC QB's this year after Brees.

I have never cared about the probowl, it is normally an uninteresting game to watch and is more of a popularity contest than what it should be.

the interior of our line is... well, they're not as good as they've been in years past, but they're still better than most guards in the league... that, and once an O-lineman makes it, he's generally in like flynt for the rest of his career

Hell, Plummer got in last year, and he is finally where he should have been...
