Didn't have NFL Network in the hotel I was in.

Did he bring up memories of his grab-ass games with Dante or Eric Hicks?

I enjoyed him...but I'm also a big Vermeil fan, so my bias probably got in the way.

Hell, Gumbel said some dumb shit at times but he wasn't as bad as the picture everyone painted.

He fessed up to thinking Tyler Brayton is an actual NFL player.

He was clearly biased towards the Chiefs...

He made me miss Sterling Sharpe.

But I can't stand Dick, so like Hootie, I'm biased.

Wasnt to bad...

I kept waiting for him to say "WTF has Herm done to this offense?"

But he never said it.....

I enjoyed him... he was a little biased toward the Chiefs, but I thought he was significantly better than Gumble, who continues to screw up numbers and names, and the occasional down.

Was it Bumble who kept saying that the teams were turning it over on downs when they were really punting or kicking a field goal? dumbass...

Toward the end of the game when we recovered a fumble (I think it became an incompleted pass), he kinda gleefully screamed the "Chiefs got it".

You could tell there was a little bias, but he did talk about Oakland's D a lot and tried to even things out.

I really enjoy listening to him because he has a recent coach's perspective of the game and tells it as it is.

He was sucking off the chefs and putting fade down all night. I think he shed tears everytime he said TrINT. He said Sperm did a great job this year but it wasn't hard to do after the way he coached. I disagree I think DV was a good coach.

actually I though he was biased, but pretty good. He obviously has a lot of insight we don't have, and I enjoyed it.

obviously biased toward the Chiefs...not that there's anything wrong with that.

DV was always a good analyst.

It is too bad Dumble didn't follow-up with Vermeil, when he said the Chiefs offense is the same system but is being used differently and ask him to elaborate on that statement.

He did a fine job all througout. I liked especially how he ran through plays and described what was happening and what needed to happen. It was really cool to see that kind of insight into the Chiefs offense.

DV as interviewed earlier in the week and was asked if he could hide his bias toward the Chiefs. He said he didn't have to since he is a part timer.

I liked the part where DV was up in arms about the "forward pass" by trent green. The raiders recovered it thinking it wasnt a forward pass and ran it back to the endzone. Some raiders players started dancing around and DV got pretty pissed off sounding. Made some funny comments.

I'm guessing he did better than ENDelt.

Vermeil should teach Gumble the rules of the game before the next broadcast. Its clear that Gumble wouldn't even be watching NFL games if he wasn't paid to do it. No fan of the game could make the mistakes he's making.

He was obviously biased. I thought any minute he was going to leap out of the box and french Trent. But at least he knew the rules and understood the game. That's more then Gumbel can say.
