I got a notification this morning that I had received a PM from myself. I didn't send myself a PM, and there was nothing new in my inbox.

The PM notifications were generated when the PM was sent. The pornographic PM was deleted about 5:30am, but there's no way to recall the notifications.

The dog had to take a dump at 4 in the morning, so I got up and let him out. Since he was taking his sweet damn time, I sat down and checked the Planet to see if I missed any choice overnight threads.
Instead, I see this PM from somebody I'd never heard of and of course opened it. What a sick **** to go to all that trouble.

Has anyone ever considered enlisting Taco John or Garcia Bronco to try to reign in these scumbags? If a CP member went over to the Drane and pulled this crap, IMO, it would reflect poorly on us as a community (and yes, I know GoChiefs annoys the hell out of them, but he doesn't violate the boundaries of decency like LB 52 and BelowAverage). Certainly most Bronco fans, regardless of how they feel about the Chiefs or the Planet, cannot condone the crap we put up with from the worst of the worst.
Perhaps a temporary ban from the Drane (or at least the threat of one) might slap these morons into line.

Already done in a way. Thats tough I mean, when you start letting other boards dictate how you treat your own membership. I would love for TJ to make a bold move like that because I know how big of deal OM is to this member but I think its over the top to ask.

Well, look at it this way - if the situation was reversed, and one of our members was pulling this shit over there (I'm talking hardcore spamming, not just being an annoying asshole), and one of the OM mods approached you for assistance in dealing with the offender, would you help them?
