View Full Version : We should trade our first round pick

for Mark Clayton, WR Baltimore. He is about to start being a Pro Bowl regular. An outstanding deep threat is our only chance at patching holes and making playoffs next season. He could also replace Dante Hall at punt returns, and we could stop holding our breaths for him to fumble.

I'd like to trade Larry too, to somewhere with a white coach, but that's just not very bright.

Once Priest and Roaf come back, and Trent is sharper, and Larry learns to catch, maybe we could win some games and make playoffs.

Pipe dreams, I know. And I also realize that our dumbass GM will probably trade down for another Eric Warfield or William Bartee.

What the f**k is it with you people and making the playoffs? I want a f**king Lombardi and one WR isn't going to get me that.

Hey Simplex wants a Super Bowl ring. LMAO. He's more intoxicated than me.

Sincerely, a poster with a number in his name.

I'm not Chiefs Planet message board worthy. Time for vodka and a handgun.

Herm and Kuhirick might land a bigtime Dtackle with that pick.

WR's can be found in the 6th round.

I do like Mark Clayton but I wouldn't trade our first round pick for him. Is Baltimore looking to trade him?

I like what Herm did in the draft this year. I'd be more apt to want to find a way to pick up a couple extra picks. Trade Wesley for a 4th or 5th maybe? Or since we'll be sitting in our traditional position at the top of the lower third of the draft, it wouldn't bother me a bit to trade down several spots and pick up a couple of mid-rounders.

As far as trading LJ, that would be unwise, IMO. Sure, he's a prima donna but if the conditions are right he can be downright scary. I say let's beef up the Oline and Dline and lets play aggressive on both sides of the ball.

Hey.... don't be so hard on the guy - he's gotta legit point. The Chiefs should trade away their 1st round pick for a WR. Howzabout Gabriel? We'll give you Gabriel for your 1st rounder....
