In the draft pick that is , let's see if we can yet screw up ANOTHR draft.
Oakland is in shambles, (much to the delight of you Chief faithful) We actually have talent on the roster, but for some reason refuse to use it.
Moss, Curry & Porter are 3 great WR’s in the game, but not being able to get a ball to them doesn’t make them very useful.
All is stuck in the 70's with Stabler and Lamonica in his head thinking that a long game will work.
NOTHING will work if the QB keeps getting sacked every other play.
Now we have a first round pick.
At least Shell did something right! (He coached us to a first round pick, something more than Turner did)
And who is Al looking at?
Another QB like Tui (who he’s refused to use for 6 years)
History has shown we absoulty SUCK on draft day.

..."The freshest thing in the room was the news that Detroit was beating Dallas, leaving Oakland with the No. 1 draft pick. Brady Quinn of Notre Dame, a big, strong-armed quarterback in the Raiders' mold, could be theirs. The thought was exciting for less than a nanosecond, because no one believes that Quinn, or any single player, can save this team."

..."Oakland gets to choose first because its 2-14 finish is the undisputed, untied worst record in the NFL".
..."The Raiders haven't picked No. 1 since 1962, when they were in the AFL and Al Davis was an L.A. Charger"
."Shell and his players had no idea what was happening in Texas Stadium, and were hardly pepped by the postgame news that they are No. 1 in something. They were too caught up in the morbid reality of their sorry condition as the losingest team in 47 years of Raiders business".
.."Davis hasn't provided Shell with a public vote of confidence since rumors about a possible firing began two weeks ago. Davis wasn't in the locker room after Sunday's game to be asked about his plans."
And just who else would commit career suicide by becoming our HC anyway? Perhaps we should just wheel Al down to the sidelines every Sunday himself and show the world what the F**K he can do, cus if he fires Shell, he’s gonna be scrambling for someone.
Tui becomes a free agent this week, and I hope he gets a contract with a rival, comes back to Oakland and shows Al just exactly what he passed up on pounding us 45-0.
He’s had 6 starts, and all were dismal failures due to the fact that when they finally did start the boy, the rest of the team had already given up.We have a QB in our ranks who watched Gannon tear apart defenses with a dink and dunk system that WORKS and has been around enough to know all those "tell’s" players make when their going to do something. He’s studied, learned, now let him play!
It’s not like we have anything left to lose, how about starting with some pass protection BEFORE you try a new QB.
The team keeps talking about how good Tui is on the practice squad, but yet forgets about him come game day.
I wish Al would just croak already, let Amy Trask take over and build a team that can at least go .500 for 1 season.
We started falling apart after we lost Chuckie.Gee Al maybe that should be an indication of where the problem lies? :hmmm:
