What happened to Svitek?

There has been talk all year about needing new OT's, and I wondered what happened to Will Svitek.

I saw that he is on IR, and I completely missed that (or forgot about it) during the season. Does anyone know what happened and how he is doing?

Does anyone think he will be a legit option for '07?

His body basically broke down after playing football for 18 months straight. He needs the offseason rest and he'll compete in 07.

I never really had a press pass to begin with - which was part of the problem.

Only if someone needed a DT that can't play more than 3 series without having swollen knees.

I don't think you will see Siavi on any rosters any time soon IF AT ALL.

He had a fair chance here in KC and made A LOT of $ doing absolutely NOTHING for it IMO.
