I know that scoring first is an obvious key, but after breaking down some numbers, it's even more important on Saturday. The Colts may be 8-0 at home, but the numbers don't lie:

Overall:

Colts outscore opponents by 11 at home, give up 146 rushing yards/game.

When the Colts score first:

Colts outscore opponents by 19, give up 126 rushing.

When the opponent scores first:

Colts outscore opponents by 3.5, give up 166 rushing.

Every opposing team that scored first at the RCA played the Colts extremely tight. Tennessee and Buffalo lost by 1, Miami by 5 and Jacksonville by 7. If those 4 teams can play Indy that tight, there's no reason we can't.

That, and off subject, but the home team during the past two WC weekends are a combined 2-6.

I think I would like the ball after the half. We will have a 2 TD lead and then we can use 7-8 minutes on a nice long drive, capped by LJ diving over the top for his 3rd TD. Then we just hold on from there.

:shake:

Forget all that holding on crap, its time for more killer instinct.

Exactly.

Score early, score often.

Early and often with Manning's weapons.

The Chiefs only had three losses in '03. Didn't do them much good
