I know that the Eagles won their division, but they dogged. The two comeback teams making to the superbowl. Has a good storyline, right?

Marty isn't calling their offense, so that might not work out for you.

Hell, I'm surprised they didn't stiff Miami and give the game to NOLA.

A coworker of mine is from NY and is a Giants fan and at the beginning of the year he said KC/NYG Superbowl. I said sure thing. Now they are both 6th seeds and that would be a first and then another first would be a team betting 2 brothers en-route to a Superbowl victory.

Marty will still be plagued by the inevitable defensive collapse and the missed field goals.

You guys realize that 9-7 is barely over 500. The only talk of KC and superbowl is the discussion of covering arrowhead to host a superbowl. 9-7 teams don't do well and can't play consistent enough to get there.

Yes just like Denver. Inconsistent and wasn't a threat for the SB this year.

One game at a time though.

And being the "real fan" you are, Bob Dole is sure you realize that your beloved Broncos had to win a coin toss in overtime at home to beat that crappy playoff team by 3.

Priest4Prez,

On your signature - you do know that Gunther was the head coach before Derrick Thomas died.

And that 10-6 team that won it last year was pretty inconsistent.

No don't remember that because I know that the only 10 win team to win it all was 88 49ers.

I have never said Denver was an elite team rather an inconsistent young team with alot of upside. I do remember the chefs had the ball with a chance to win before OT. Do you remember that? A win is a win right? I'm sure you count the win over the fade at arrowhead right when A Brooks gave the game away.

There's no logical reason to discuss this possiblity, however, if one was a conspiracy theorist and if you look back over the years on how KC got screwed on crucial calls and the fact that Elway managed to win a SB, one could very well be a conspiracy theorist...one could theorize that the death of Hunt could lead to a SB appearance for KC thanks to a sympathetic NFL front office.

We all know how it works...one bounce or one non existent 'holding' call to push a team out of FG range or non call of a block in the back on a Hall return could mean the difference between a win and move toward the SB and a loss.

Could it happen? Well, if one believes in conspiracies, one might say so.
