Just thought I'd start a placeholder thread. I'm sure there will be some news.

Which brings up something overlooked this week: We need Tynes to be perfect this week.

So...whats on TV now...looks like 5 is gonna go to WNBA? Is that right?

ESPN showing tibits of the Chiefs/Colts preview. Talked about Damon Huard, doing Peyton Manning during practices, and Ty Law commented that his impression of Manning was "dead-on."

Also being on the Patriots teams helped I'm sure.

See, that's a great reason why Green had to take all the first-team reps. Huard had to play Manning all week! :)

Well we could be watching the HS all star game but nooo, NBC has to run paid programming to ensure they get in their 52 hour pregame, stupid bastards.

Mike Priefer:

Pollard's block last week was nuts, great effort play.

Says intensity will be different in the playoffs. Players responded well this week were attentive in meetings.

Scared of Terence Wilkins on kick/punt returns. Breaks tackles.

There's a solution for it.

Kickoffs, kick the f**king football out of the endzone.

Punts, corner coffin the damn thing.

What people don't realize is that if Huard gets the call to go in for Green during the game, there's a 99.9% chance that it means we are out of the game by then.

So go Green!!!

Gunther on the radio:

Chiefs practiced the play where Law got the INT against Jax.

Was disappointed in the QB scrambles. Looked like the D just stopped on both plays.

Was pleased with the run defense.

Gunther considers Manning a friend. LMAO

Chiefs need to control the game by keeping the ball in front of them and tackling.

Says the Chiefs aren't at a stage where they can dominate the Colts, but can play tough, in-your-face defense. Need to play with enthusiasm.

Wants to get physical with Wayne/Harrison before and after the catch.

Law had a great week of practice. Has tons of energy, more than ever before this year.

Chiefs haven't gotten a cheap touchdown on defense all year. Maybe they are due?

Thinks Hali got the shaft as far as DROY.

Gretz just said there were about 4,000 people in the stadium and almost ALL OF THEM were wearing RED.

Mike Solari:

Offense was more consistent last week.

Offensive line and Tony Gonzalez did a great job of blocking.

Colts are better at home against the run.

Have to get touchdowns.

Preached ball security all week. Can't turn it over.
