I swear Detroit and Arizona are in the top 5 every year. It's getting real old seeing the top talent go to those losers year after year.

Top 20 - The top 20 players in the 2007 draft regardless of position.

Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn would have probably been a late first rounder if he'd declared for the 2006 NFL draft.

Instead, Quinn is the top player on our 2007 Top 20 Board. Check back regularly throughout the coming season as we get a handle on all the players. This is shaping up to be a very strong draft class.

1. Brady Quinn, QB, Notre Dame (6-4, 231)
2. Gaines Adams, DE, Clemson (6-5, 260)
3. Joe Thomas, OT, Wisconsin (6-8, 306)
4. Paul Posluszny, LB, Penn St. (6-2, 229)
5. Quentin Moses, DE, Georgia (6-5, 250)
6. Michael Bush, RB, Louisville (6-3, 250)
7. Jeff Samardzija, WR, Notre Dame (6-4, 231)
8. LaRon Landry, DB, LSU (6-2, 204)
9. Tim Crowder, DE, Texas (6-4, 270)
10. Brandon Meriweather, DB, Miami (6-0, 188)
11. Drew Stanton, QB, Michigan St. (6-3, 230)
12. Kenny Irons, RB, Auburn (5-11, 200)
13. LaMarr Woodley, DE, Michigan (6-2, 268)
14. Levi Brown, OT, Penn St. (6-5, 324)
15. Marcus McCauley, CB, Fresno St. (6-1, 200)
16. Michael Griffin, DB, Texas (6-0, 205)
17. Ryan Harris, OT, Notre Dame (6-5, 288)
18. Jason Hill, WR, Washington St. (6-1, 210)
19. Rufus Alexander, LB, Oklahoma (6-1, 231)
20. Leon Hall, CB, Michigan (5-11, 193)

WTF is "subject to coin flip" all about? Is that really the best method they can come up with to break a tie?

If we would only suck for a few years, we could be a winning team. :)

You have WAY too much time on your hands. Your also assuming that the entire 'couching' staff will be back?

A ton of juniors haven't declared yet so those lists will dramatically change.

Im fine with our QB situation as long as we re-sign Huard. Leave the competition open and training camp.

A lot of people may say he isn't the answer. But he proved to be this year. All he did was lead the team, and keep them in playoff contention.
And place a QB passer rating of 98, throw 11 TDs and 1 int. Ranking 2nd amongst NFL QB's.

*And after Greens performance this year, I think Huard deserves some consideration of re-signing a new contract here. I look at it this way, Herm knows defense. So why not build the defense to greatness? Thats all good if you can have a QB like Huard come in and do what he did. Not make mistakes.

What's the date when trades and moves can start being made? I'll be curious to see what happens with Trent.

Even without considering juniors who haven't yet declared, that list tells me we should be taking a serious look at LINEBACKER.

Any other player on the team who created as many turnovers as
Green would have been benched....

WTF is "subject to coin flip" all about? Is that really the best method they can come up with to break a tie?

If two teams have the same record, the first tie breaker is strength of schedule, with the team having the strongest schedule drafting last. Occasionally you two teams with the same strength of schedule such as the Browns and Bucs this year. If those two teams are in the same division or conference, you use those tiebreakers. When the teams are in different conferences, you break the tie with a coin flip.

The actual tiebreakers that the NFL uses to determine playoff seedings aren't much different than a coin flip in selecting the stronger of two teams anyway.

Fix and offensive and defensive line so that the next coach has a solid foundation. Let the next guy choose what type of WRs he wants.

I'd let Green, Gonzo, Shields, Kennison go. They aren't going to be around next time we will be good on offense.
