Pittsburgh's 5th rounder last year. He was recently picked up by the Iggles and released from their PS. I really don't see any reason why we shouldn't bring him into camp and let him compete for Printers' spot. He's younger, bigger, and a more accurate passer. He also did well in the preseason in limited duty. If we do make a move to an offense that relies on shorter routes, his accuracy (especially on the intermediate ball) could really serve us well in a backup role.

He has screwy mechanics, but they aren't much worse than Rivers, and look at the jack that mofo pulls in.

Wasn't someone on here saying he was the next big thing? I know there was at least one Omar Jacobs pimp wanting us to spend a draft pick on him.

I don't know why he skipped his senior year to be a 5th round draft pick :spock:

It looks like the Omar pimp was "Black Jack Savage"/"John Matrix", and I think at least one of those turned out to be ComTash. Both are banned now.

This is a chesnut.

Unless Vince Young completely changes how he throws, he'll never play QB in the NFL.

Omar Jacobs has Daunte Culpepper like talent.

Omar Jacobs projects better to the NFL than Vince Young does at the QB position. Young will probably need the most coaching work ever done to just make him capable of playing the position in the NFL.

If Jacobs does come out he's probably going to project in the 2nd round.

I wish I could find his "Some people just don't understand the draft" quote now. That was only a couple days ago.

The funniest thing about that quote is that it was almost verbatim what Mel Kiper said about the Jets in the 1989 Draft after they took Jeff Lageman (look up the Jets Draft Blunders)

Big Dick Jones. Now who could that have been?

I remember when Skippy "just couldn't take the Planet" and went into a supposed seclusion. Several days later, No Dick Jones showed up. Tom C*sh like.

That was some funny shit.

Not understand the draft.....and projecting a player wrong aren't the same thing.

EVERYONE has projected guys wrong at times no one is 100% correct.

My comment has alot to do with people who just want to pick a position be damned of who's available.
