Yeah, I'd say there's a good chance of that considering the link he provided is for an article titled "NFL: Tomlin accepts job with Steelers".

I think Vick should be treated as nothing happened. It won't happen though. They even said they found nothing, I don't know why people don't believe them.

So... he was carrying a water bottle with a secret compartment, that he was reluctant to give up to airport screeners, because there was nothing in it? :BS:

They're poor because they're too stupid to leave their weed at home. If you throw it away, then you just have to buy more later!

Long before 9/11........ but I remember going through airport security with a couple of doobies in my front shirt pocket.

If you try to hard to hide something you will get busted.

Vick is a dumbass. But I guess that is besides the point!

Exactly..... the NFL does NOT need the talk before the superbowl being about one of their most overhyped players being a pothead.

Sources: Vick will be exonerated for Miami incidentESPN.com news services

Vick
Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick was not carrying marijuana or another illegal substance at the Miami airport and will be exonerated, league sources told ESPN's Chris Mortensen on Sunday.

On Wednesday, Vick surrendered a water bottle to security at Miami International Airport that authorities believed smelled like marijuana and contained a substance in a hidden compartment. Vick was not arrested and was allowed to board his flight to Atlanta.

When reached by The Associated Press on Sunday, NFL spokesman Greg Aiello wouldn't comment on the report.

Miami police had said it could take weeks to decide whether charges would be filed against Vick, a three-time Pro-Bowler. As of Monday, investigators were awaiting results of a crime lab analysis of the bottle, which appeared to contain only water but also had a hidden compartment that contained a "small amount of dark particulate" and an odor consistent with marijuana, according to a police report.

Miami-Dade County police Detective Alvaro Zabaleta said Monday "there's no official word" on the analysis or the filing of any charges. A spokesman for State Attorney Katherine Fernandez Rundle said investigators had not made a recommendation on whether to prosecute.

"It has not reached us," spokesman Ed Griffith said.

A Falcons team source confirmed to Mortensen that the team expects to hear something formal by Monday.

My guess:
It was his stash bottle. He had nothing but some shake and/or ash left in it. Not enough to make a big fuss and arrest him over, so he instead gets to appear innocent.

That's my guess as well, but it still doesn't explain his idiocy of of not immediately throwing it way when asked. That lack of ability to think on his feet like that disqualifies him as starting QB material in my book.

he was always innocent,

but it will be awhile before he's not under suspicion.
