Matt Millen knows how to run a franchise. He understands that the lions, if all effort were put forth, they would only have a mediocre team. Instead of dissapointing his fans with near-miss playoff stints every year, he hires goons that ensure a high draft pick. Ruining many good players like Mike Williams and Joey Harrington. Maybe Carl should take a page out of Matt's book, or just quit.

When was your last drug test?
1. Drugs are clinically proven to enhance the human mind.
2. Detroit and KC aren't that different if you think about it

It is inarguable that Millen has produced more top-ten draft picks than any other GM in the league. Possibly all-time.

It is also inarguable that Millen has produced more bad top-ten draft picks than any other GM in the league.

EDIT: Millen has had 5 Top Ten picks since coming on in 2000. He hit on Roy Williams, missed on Mike Williams, Charles rogers and Joey Harrington. Jury is still out on Ernie Sims.

Well, sure. But what a record of producing them.

Seriously, I wonder if any other GM has ever produced that many in the modern era. I think any other GM would've been fired for producing them in that density, but maybe there was a GM who was around for 20 years and had the same raw number. Who've been the Cardinals' and Saints' GMs over time?
