I would go for it if the price is right. SA makes very nice products and have great support too. I've got a SA 1911-A1 and haven't had any problems with it. Shoots great so far. What will you have to shell out for the XD?

That seems to be a good deal with the extra mags and all. The only thing that would make me shy is that it is polymer. Nothing against the XD, just that I have read some comments about polymer weapons and durability. Can't say I know firsthand because I don't own any polymer weapons. For that price though I would be tempted to try one.

Wow! Great price. I've seen them on Personal Defense TV and thought about trading in my Glock 17 for one. I like the safety on the handle and how it's supposed to fire like it's in a cocked and locked position all the time. I may go for the 357 sig. but I'm not sure how it would work on a bear. (I may be moving to Alaska soon and I'm sure 9mm won't work!!!) If you get one, let us know how you like it.
