Usually the Boulevard Pale Ale is my "go to" beer. But for the 2-3 months that the Irish Ale is out, it is like my birthday every day.

If you guys are into good beer, you'll appreciate this tip.

I got back from a trip up to New York last weekend and dropped by a place called "The Ginger Man". I stumbled upon the place by way of a suggestion from a lady at a brewpub. This place was quite incredible, they had 60+ world class beers on tap, and what was really amazing was that they served them at the correct temperature for each style. My wife had a Guinness and they even poured the shamrock in the head. By far the best "beer lover's" bar I've ever been to. From what I understand there are also Ginger Man pubs in Austin and Dallas and I think somewhere else but can't remember (memory started getting fuzzy after a few barleywines).

If you are ever in the area of one of these pubs and love beer, it's definately worth the trip. Here's the website for the one I visited: http://www.gingerman-ny.com/GingerManFlash/GingerMan.html

I was at the local grocery tonight after work, strolled through the beer aisle, and much to my surprise, the Irish Ale has already made it to St. Louis for the season.

Woohoo! :BLVD:
