The game was another yawner. Gotta give credit to Indy, they came to play and did a number on the Bears. Manning did a great job, adjusted and ran it like a machine.

So...the seasons over and we Chiefs fans live on another inbetween season of hope. You can knock em but you have to admit, the Colts and the Bears earned it and both teams should be darn proud of the seasons they had and the fans of those teams had a great ride.

Someday that will be us. In the meantime Props to both teams.

Note to CBS: Katie Couric promos and foisting that wench as a "news" person was out of place and shows just how desperate your news division is. Oh...was it necessary to burden us with those Grammy promos? Who watches the freaking Grammys?

Note to NFL...Had no idea Prince would carry it off but he did. Whoever sold that idea is a salesman. Whoever produced it deserves a bonus

Note to CBS: Give all of your camera men rags to wipe off lenses during the rain.

Sorry missed half the game due to a blurry camera work. :cuss:

Same with the halftime show. :bravo: ;)

Law enforcement report

Douglas County Sheriff’s officers responded to two calls of a shooting star landing in a field northeast of the junction of U.S. Highways 56 and 59, a Douglas County dispatcher said.

Deputies searched the area for some time but never found any sign of a meteorite

Super Bowl Recap.

1. Pre-game - what the hell is this? Somebody ripped off Peter Max.

2. 1st Half - The weather gods shine down on the Bears. No dome team has ever won an outdoor Super Bowl. Lots of rain should slow down the speedy turf loving Colts. Hester runs back a kick. Peyton watches a fumble bounce around and runs away rather than make contact with puddles on the ground. It's all pointing toward the Bears. But the Bears can't take advantage!! Was Solari called in for assistance? The Colts have a horrible half, but walk in with a 2 point lead.

Half-time: Prince does very well. It is rumored Lovie Smith tries to talk him into playing QB the second half.

2nd Half: The Bears defense collapses. No pressure from the front 4. They are even man-handled in the running game. The Bears offensive adjustment is interesting - let our horrible QB throw up some floating jump balls! Brilliant. Game over.

Someone call Herm and let him know he can go home now, the game is over.

We had the exact same reports here in Illinois last night, apparently the sky was being lit up.

Interesting.

From Kansas to Wisconsin, people flooded 911 lines Sunday night reporting mysterious objects falling form the sky. But what was it? The Missouri State Highway Patrol says people have reported seeing the objects over a widespread area, including St. Louis, Cape Girardeau and Pettis County, near Sedalia in Missouri, and near Alton and Bunker Hill in Illinois. NORAD says it was probably a meteor.

It was actually the hopes and dreams of Bear fans. Our hopes never get big enough or high enough to become a fireball
