Weathercasters commonly will show areas of low pressure on surface maps, but you will occassionally see weathercasters show areas of low pressure in upper levels of the troposphere, sometimes refering to them as "storm systems" or "upper lows".
The way to tell them apart is that surface maps have cold fronts and warm fronts on them, where as upper level charts will likely have the Jet Stream featured on them.

High pressure vs low pressure is in relation to the pressure of the earths atmosphere upon a point above or below the average sea-level pressure of 1013.25 mb or 29.91" of mercury.

My understanding is that IQ and intelligence are very different qualities, being that your IQ, say if you took a test, can change through your life, but your raw intelligence can not.

Yea... from reading the posts over they are people I've had very little association with. Again I have to explain that the choices were people "I" find more intelligent than the average GoChiefs. He told me coming into this poll that he didn't feel like he was getting the respect he deserved around the board, said he felt like he'd been overlooked. He was tired of hearing about how he wouldn't make it at this level, how the jokes were so much faster and the post totals bigger than what he'd seen before. I think it's fair to say that Rain Man came into this poll with a chip on his shoulder and he's certainly proven today that he belongs. Looks like Kevin is running away with it.

He told me coming into this poll that he didn't feel like he was getting the respect he deserved around the board, said he felt like he'd been overlooked. He was tired of hearing about how he wouldn't make it at this level, how the jokes were so much faster and the post totals bigger than what he'd seen before. I think it's fair to say that Rain Man came into this poll with a chip on his shoulder and he's certainly proven today that he belongs. If he lacks anything in natural intelligence he is more than making up for it in hard work and grit. Lots of grit. Safe to say no one will be looking past him next season.
