Without looking it up, does anyone know the answers to these trivia questions?

1. What year was it?
2. What team had the first pick?
3. Who was chosen?

1936

Eagles

Jay Berwanger

ON a lighter note. His rights were traded by the Eagles to the Bears and he NEVER played a down in the NFL.

Correct. And Berwanger was the first Heisman Trophy winner. Played for what school?

That's right, the University of Chicago.

And he was born in Dubuque, Iowa. I lived there for a few years.

Well, I'm not sure what else can be done with this thread now.

I don't think this is right. I distinctly remember a draft last April.

But anyway, I would guess the following:

1. 2007
2. Oakland
3. I don't know. I haven't seen the news.
