who the hell rides those things!? Come on now those are not "coasters" they just look like them, well in a tinker toy kind a way.

I'm surprised at the number of accidents at county fairs, given the training and professionalism of the people who install and operate the rides.

Girl scalped in go-kart mishap
(Friday, October 20, 2006) - A 12-year-old girl was completely scalped when her ponytail got caught in the drive belt of a go-kart engine at Niagara Go-Karts and Mini Putt in Niagra Falls, Ontario, Canada.

Man dies in Ghost Train accident
(Saturday, August 26, 2006) - At Tramore Amusement Park in Tramore, Ireland, a 22-year-old man suffered fatal injuries in an accident on the park's Ghost Train ride. Early reports indicate that the man left or fell from his car and was subsequently struck by an oncoming car. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he died a short time later.
The Health and Safety Authority is investigating.

How many of these actually involve legit parks in the US? Most of them are foreign and the one's that are local are carny rides.
