I'm very hopeful for Croyle but I'd like to have Carr. I think he's much better than his situation in Houston would indicate. My only concern would be the beating that he's already taken.

I could see the Vikes, Bucs or Jags giving him a look. He's still pretty young & all of those teams have need of a QB. Gradkowski isnt a sure thing & Simms is rumored to want a trade, the vikes have a young guy but they may want to push him & the Jags dont have anything clear cut either.

I think Carr got a bad deal, the Tejans are one of the worst teams ever with free agency & drafting, the guy had one of the worst O lines in recent memory protecting him & a D equally as bad.

He's still young enough to get turned around IMO, i would hate to see him become the next Rick "Wallow In The" Mirer, another talented guy victimized by crap teams.

I suppose it will happen in the early part of the first round of the draft, if at all.

I concur. Someone who picks up Carr would be taking themselves out of the QB market. That's something you'd want to do before you sent your card up to the podium.

No matter where he goes, he'll end up on his ass?

Now that's funny.

Oakland... I'd give him a look in KC though.

If the Texans trade Carr I don't believe they'd have anyone on the current roster ready to be a starter. Maybe Huard to Houston as the caretaker for a year?

I think they are going to try to bring in Jake Plummer so they can reunite him with Kubiak.

Yes.

It is my contention that Carr is equally responsible for his sack numbers with his O-Line, because he has always had the propensity to hold onto the ball too long.

This was considered a weakness for him coming out of school, and he hasn't changed.

He's too slow with his reads, or with his decisions, and because of that, he winds up on his ass consistently.

That would make sense in an NFL sort of way.

Carr is an Aikman clone without an O-line, once he gets that with decent WRs then he would be lethal towards the opposition.

Kind of doubt it will happen but I'd like to see him in Oakland to keep them from drafting Russel.

Oakland - no, they will have Jamarcus Russell.

Vikings - no, I think they like Tavarius Jackson.

(If i mis-spelled either first name, sue me)

Ravens - no, they still have McNair for at least one more season.

Chiefs - no, I don't want to think about it.

Browns? Dolphins? Bucs even? I can't think of anywhere else off the top of my head.

Kubiak needs to fix the Oline before he thinks replacing Carr will do much for them.

He is best suited for the Bucs. As long as he is not in a Chiefs uniform I am fine with it =)

I doubt he'll be in Minn. I think Jackson is their future.

My guess is Detroit. Kitna is doing alright, but he's not exactly young.

If Carr ends up someplace with a vet QB, a year to reBoot and an oline, I still think he's got a chance to be a decent QB.

The Texans are a joke.

They just gave Carr an 8 million dollar roster bonus last year and passed up Young, Leinart and Cutler. Yeah, Plummer is the solution. At least it's one more AFC team that won't stand in KC's way of making the playoffs for a few years.
