I've mentioned it before, but it still kills me that Stallone could write, direct & star in the first 3 outstanding Rocky's, yet not be able to tell that flics like Stop or My Mom Will Shoot or Judge Dredd etc. were destined to be clunkers.

As good as the first 2 were, 3 is my fave, it made household names out of Mr. T & Bulk Bogan.

The good ol days, where all you had to do was hit on the wife and you got yourself a good fight.

Now days we all just agree with the comments or say "leave some beer in the fridge for me"

I'm afraid Clubber might be right. Maybe Rocky is just a paper champion.

Doctor: Uh, none of the tests required you to disrobe. I'm not sure why you're all sitting here in your underwear.
Deputy S. Jones: Dangle was in his underwear when we all got here.
Deputy Travis Junior: Yeah, what's the deal, Dangle?
Lt. Jim Dangle: I don't feel the need to explain myself.

Since you're all into Rocky I'll keep you posted on the Busch series race in Daytona. Aerosmith just sang a NASCAR song. It was teh ghey.

She's an unfortunate looking woman.

I'm going to go see the movie next weekend. I hope it's at least half as good as the series.

I doubt it will be, movies based on TV shows rarely work. I'll probably wait until in comes out on PPV or DVD.

The race is currently under caution due to a 3-car accident in turn 2.

OMG, The eye of the Tiger!!! How does he come up with this stuff? If Rocky can't win after that pep talk it'll prove that Clubber was right.

I heard it was supposed to be pretty good. Heard the whole "fight" sequence thing was kinda cheesy and over the top, with advertisements shit like that, but it is 2007, not the days of the orig. rockys. But I want to see it whne it comes on dvd, but RT did give it a pretty damn good review/score.

Thanks, def. excited to get it..

Still think its funny in Rocky V when he goes back home, Clubber Langs mom says hi to him as he walks by LOL, said something like you beat up my son or something, thought that was a funny little tidbit most wouldnt recognize.

Very much agreed.....Im fairly certain he only took those crap gigs for the $$$$$$$

Im also estatic to hear that Stallone is doing a Rambo 4 as well. If done right, it could be a huge success. Id love to see Rambo go kick some Al Qaeda butt.

Rocky and Rambo are truly iconic figures in american cinema.

I'd pay $7.50 to see a new Rambo.
