ESPN hasn't touched this story yet but check it out:

http://thebiglead.com/?p=1830

Jones had tossed hundreds of $1 bills on the stripper stage, an action known in street slang as “making it rain.” When one of the strippers started grabbing the money without Jones’ permission, he got angry, grabbed her hair and slammed her head against the stage, Susnar said.

That’s when security guard Aaron Cudworth, a mixed-martial artist with professional fighting experience, intervened and stopped the assault, he said.

“At that point, Pacman said, ‘I’m going to kill you,’” Susnar said.

What an idiot. Someone should insure he doesn't reproduce and further diminish the gene pool.

Wouldn't suprise me if that actually happened.

Pacman is a tool. I'm glad he's far away from KC.

It would be funny to see how fast that little SOB was running away from the bouncer when he said that

Someone on the site with the story made a good point.

Once you throw the money on the stage, why the hell does a stripper need permission to pick it up?

making it rain ususally is followed by a nod or you walk away THEN the stripper can pick up the cash. Sometimes patrons like to follow the making it rain with taking a bath when the stripper can roll around in the money. Strange that the strippers in vegas never heard of that. I stee it all the time and i am in little old atchison

I guess when I'm giving a buck at a time for the same action that the guy "making it rain" is getting, I've never experienced that phenomenon, either.

Rolling around in money naked for a customer's enjoyment must really do wonders on the old self-esteem. No wonder these dancers do a ton of coke.

...not to mention they were $1 bills :)

That's what the club manager said happened. Said the other stripper who grabbed the cash was "unfamiliar" with the rain rules.

The amount of dollar bills in order to "make it rain" is directly proportionate to the hottness scale (1-100) of the "dancer". If she looks like redrum's mother you could hypothetically throw up a roll of nickels in the air.

But if she looks anything like my wife, you'll need to throw hundred dollar bills.

What's wrong with this guy?

He goes postal on the stripper, the bouncer moves in and restrains him, Pac-man's girlfriend busts a champagne bottle over the bouncer's head, Pac-man's "entourage" gets involved, some folks get shot ...

And Phil gets judgmental. :shake:

I guess that's what an entourage is for. You can always deflect blame onto a member of your entourage.

Edit: And how often are the words "entourage", "strip club", and "police" found in the same news item. I bet quite often.

Per ESPN

Police seized $81,020 in cash belonging to Tennessee Titans cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones, money they said sparked a melee and a triple shooting at a strip club over the weekend, court documents show.

Why would you even have $81,000 in cash? Seems like trouble waiting to happen.

L.A. Chieffan
02-22-2007, 02:32 PM
Hey, I have an idea. Let's take $81,000 dollars in dollar bills to a strip bar and when the strippers try to pick it up lets get all crazy and cap some people. Good times!
