View Full Version : If you could be a TV/Movie character, who would you choose?

Mr. Kotter
02-23-2007, 09:54 AM
Knowing what you know now, about life and the world....

If you could choose to be a character, that you could "realistically" imagine yourself as.....given another shot at life....who would you choose to be? :hmmm:

(Yes, I fully expect some smartass and humorous hijackings of the thread too....UP as Klinger (MASH), Phobia as Al (Home Improvement), or RainMan as himself (Rainman).....)

I'd choose:

Jack McCoy (Law and Order)

or

Sebastian Shark (Shark)

Had I grown up in a middle class neighborhood and family....given my interests, talents, and strengths...I'd have probably gone to law school. And I doubt the money of private practice would have drawn me away from the satisfaction for putting bad guys where they belong: with their prison bitches. :D

Who would you choose to be? :hmmm:

It's an interesting question, and it made me realize something as I thought over all my favorite movies. Not many of the main characters have good lives. The Corleones I wouldn't want their lives, except maybe as a relative, godson to Vito.

Most of my favorite characters live tragic lives, full of death and despair and loss.
