I couldn't find much on ESPNs website (without a subscription) but his piece was pretty impressive on Sportscenter Sunday morning.

this is all I could find online
The competition began Saturday at the combine and [Joe]Thomas, who checked in at 6-foot-6½ and 311 pounds, still has the edge. His arm length was very good (33¼ inches), and posted the second best 40-yard dash time in his group (4.92 seconds).

True, but they could pick up a guy like Joe Satley with their second round pick.

He's not Joe Thomas, but he's a guy who could be a pretty good LT.

Because they are a division rival, and they could dramitically improve themselves in the draft.

With Dead Al in charge, it's unlikely, I know, but it is possible, in theory.

Just look at it this way...Calvin Johnson is head and shoulders above everyone else in this draft. Far and away the best player and the Raiders aren't picking him, that alone is a giant positive.

He was cheating on his bench press.

Joe Thomas 2007 = Robert Gallery 2004

There are no sure things. Especially if you're going to play for the Raiders...
