here are some highlights he seems like a nice consolation prize if Jarrett is gone

Did he not workout at the combine? I don't recall him ever being mentioned.

40 time of 4.55 and a vertical leap of 39 1/2 inchesThanks. Didn't jump as high as I thought he could. He made some spectacular leaping catches over Chris Houston when we played them. I suspect with those numbers and several other WR's putting up blazing times he'll fall to the second.

Well I pretty much couldn't care less about numbers at the combine.

Just look at some of those catches. Those are catches you can only make if you're 6'3 like he is.

He can just go up and get it.

The catch over the DB (looked like Bama) and the TD catch in the back of the endzone against Tennessee were just amazing.

I'm big on production and when you look at the stats, it's hard to top what Calvin Johnson, Dewayne Jarrett & Sidney Rice have done over the past couple of years.

Well we know we have no shot at Johnson but I'm confident we will be able to land either Jarrett or Rice if we want to.

Rice's 40 time cemented him in the 1st round, IMO. He has the size, hands, and leaping ability to be a #1 in the NFL, but the only question was his breakaway speed. He ended up in the 4.4/4.5 range, which is what he was hoping for. At this point, I think he leaps over Bowe in the WR rankings. That said, I think Meachem will be drafted ahead of him based on his potential.

Ginn
Jarrett

Meachem
Rice

Bowe

We need defense!

I'd contend that our offense is in worse shape than our defense.

Everybody talks about how we need a DT.

Well Okoye and Branch will probably be gone and the talent takes a dip from there.

IMO, Dwayne Jarrett or Sidney Rice would be a better value pick than the 3rd best DT whoever that might be.

No! The only WR's in the first round I am interested in are Jarrett or Calvin, and we have no shot in hell to land Calvin.

I agree, we have to go BPA in the 1st. Quality DTs such as Harrell, Mebane, and McBean should be available in the 2nd round.

Jerry Rice and Anquan Boldin ran bad 40s at the combine.

OTOH, Samie Parker ran a 4.3. Woo-hoo!

I really like Rice at pick 23 or trading down to get him, i just really have a feeling that he could be good.

I agree with your rankings except that Ginn should be knocked down and grouped with Bowe. I'd rate Jarrett, Meachem and Rice all ahead of Ginn.

Eric should be banned to put up clips because this is the second time he killed a decent thread with a "white" mass where a video is suppose to be

We need defense!

This is why the Chiefs team is in the state it's in.

You draft the best available player and find somewhere for him to play.

Our offense is a complete trash heap besides LJ, Waters and Gonzo.

We need offense, far more than we need defense. Unless a stud DT falls into their lap, the Chiefs should draft a WR. Rice or Jarrett would be fine by me.
