He wants a new contract but Herm doesn't think he fits the new offense. source - 810.

We would need a new LT,RT and center.

he doesn't fit our offense .... we need a power center who can handle a nose tackle alone.

I don't think Casey will be here next year. Doesn't like LJ and wants more money.

No more so than if he does.

Likely less.

Let him walk. Go with Rudy or draft a kid like Fry from Clemson.

It's time for him to move on, too.

Hell, there was talk he might retire anyway.

Let him walk.

He constantly needs help in double teaming DTs 320 lbs and up.

I'd like to see a stronger/bigger Center.

Wow the O-line is in trouble.

Just gotta draft a bunch of new guys.

Roaf, Shields, Green, Weigman, Holmes. I wonder why Vermeil retired

Weigmann will do for another year while we address things in other areas.

If we don't sign him, it'll be an issue that will hurt, not help, the Chiefs.

With all the other pieces being torn out, the answer is no.

Let him walk. Its not like things are looking up for us on the O-Line front as it is. I for one will not be taking LJ in next years fantasy draft. I don't think he can get many yards when three people will be tackling him before the handoff.
