Not for a primary vehicle but definitely for a secondary one.

Will it get you from point A to point B? If so, who cares. Go for it.

You wouldn't mind it being yellow but you wouldn't leave it that way because you would have to turn it into a Chiefs machine.

Looks like a high-lift jack to me.

Are you getting that one Archie F. Swin?

Need to get a hard top my friend.

These guys have them for 1,800-1,900.

(I'm sure you can find them cheaper if you look around on the web)

You can have some serious fun with that bish since its lifted with the big o tires too.

Nice!

Good look’n Jeep, Archie. Is that the one you’re look’n at?

Some things you should ask’em before you sign on the dotted line though:
1. Remember what I told you ‘bout Dana 35 rear axles? Lift, bigger than stock tires and a Dana 35 don’t go together. Well they will but you’ll pay for it, $$$, eventually. Find out what axle is in the rear. ‘Round that year, Daimler Chrysler started use’n an AAM (American Axle Manufacturer) 7.5 Axle and they’re a stronger unit than the Dana 35.
2. Find out what gears are in the axles. A common problem with buy’n a used and lifted vehicle like that is the previous owner probably lifted the Jeep and put the big tires on think’n it looked cool, but didn’t bother finish’n up the job with gears adequate for the tires. If that’s the case, you can tell by drive’n it. It’ll feel gutless and struggle to hold speed on the highway. If it’s an automatic, it’ll shift in and out of overdrive try’n to keep speed up.
3. Pro Comp tires are good ones. Find out what size they are, that will determine what gear’n you should have.

Again though, I’d point’cha to the guys at JU Wrangler TJ forum. They’ll know more ‘bout the specifics of that model than I do.
