...taken by the Chiefs in legitimate mock drafts out there.

I've seen dozens dating back to Valentine's Day, and it seems a sure lock that we're going to snag a WR. Bowe and Jarrett seem most likely, with Meachum and Rice getting a hard look as well.

But I've also seen some looney ones out there.

What are some out-of-the-ordinary picks you've seen the Chiefs make?

I've seen us taking Brady Quinn.

And Jeff Samardzija, a WR out of Notre Dame.

And UTEP's QB, Jordan Palmer? ooooookay.

Samardzija is not entering the draft he is going to pitch in the MLB for the Cubs

Drafting Sylvester Morris is the most bizarre one I have ever seen, the mocks could not even have made that up.

Any first or 2nd round we have had outside DJ and LJ since this millenium.

That one is pretty good.

Here's another

Okay I know there is issues with Jared Allen but he's still a Chief and we currently have one of the best DE tandems in the league.

I think we'd look to a lot of positions before another DE.

Examples: LT, RT, DT, WR, RG, QB (if say Quinn fell), CB maybe even OLB.

There's a lot.

I was going to post that one. It's the dumbest one I've seen yet and considering the source I'm not surprised.

Justin Blalock was a popular pick for us early in the mock draft process, despite the fact that we need OTs, not guards. I guess people just assumed that anything on the o-line would help, but he was never a good pick based on our needs.

Blalock doesn't have the attitude to be a primetime Guard. The man doesn't finish off blocks.

Jarvis Moss seems odd. I've usually seen him gone before the 23rd pick, the Chiefs drafted Hali last year and Jared Allen isn't going anywhere.

I agree, he reminds me of Leonard Davis.

yeah id be pretty pissed if we drafted moss there and not someone else, i still think we go WR, because there wont be many of them next year based on how many juniors came out this year, and abiamiri, charles johnson are both projectin in 2nd round, and ugoh staley an harris coudl also be there then so i still think we pass on jarret if hes there an get sidney rice
