There's a great article at CNNSI about the selection process and the RPI. They basically use that number as a grouping system, and that's about it. When they actually select and seed, it is much more subjective. KU is 10-0 going into this game. I think they are one seed no matter what.

RPI plays more of a factor in determining whether bubble teams get in than anything else. KU's overall record and record in their last 10 (not including today) should be the deciding factor. They're a 1.
