Free agent, and had a hell of a record as a kicker, albeit for a dome team.

He's a prima donna, bit of a headcase, and played like garbage in his short time with Dallas (who, not for nothing, is practically a dome team themselves). But that was just last year, the many years that preceeded that he was among the most accurate kickers of all time. In fact, in spite of his bad year last year, he's still the most accurate kicker of all time.

Is he too streaky for you? Or do you think he's at least worth a look?

Tynes may be the best kicker left on the market.

Bring him in. Tynes is scottish or something weird, definitely not American. That is good reason to cut him. Vanderjagt may choke a few times, but Tynes hasn't even been there. I'll take the guy who was for the longest time, and still might be the most accurate kicker in NFL history.

Jan Stenerud was Norwegian.

What's your point?

No, I don't want Vanderjaght.

My point is I don't like Euro's. They are homos. This is the NFL. Look what happened to the NBA, too many Euros has made it go soft. The NFL is all about celebrating all that is American. Cut Tynes, I bet he plays soccer

Ya, he was born in Denmark. Also a fudge packer, which is why he can't make field goals over 40 yards. Certainly has nothing to do with him being 55 years old either. Yep, strictly cuz he is Danish.

From wikipedia..

"Though born in Copenhagen, Andersen was raised in the west Jutland town of Struer, Denmark.[1] As a student, he was a gymnast and a long jumper, and barely missed becoming a member of the Danish junior national soccer team."

See he played soccer too. I told you so. Glad he no longer plays for Chiefs.

I'd rather have Tynes than Vanderjerk, even with missed EP's and short ones. How many touchbacks vs. kickoffs did Tynes do last season?

I hate Lawrence Tynes. I never have had confidence in the guy when he trots onto the field. I'll take just about anyone over Lawrence Tynes...Even Vanderjagt. Tynes has worn out his welcome IMO. I get nervous with him kicking extra points.
