Anyone brave enough to give this a try? There are about 60 questions.
http://web.tickle.com/tests/superiq/index.jsp

I'll warn you, though. They try to get you to sign up for things to get your results. I just selected "NO" though all of those.

120. This makes me a concrete thinker, according to the site. Which is ironic, because of all those times people have told me my brain must be made of concrete.

The way you think about things makes you a Creative Theorist. Only 6 out of 1,000 people have this rare combination of abilities.

hmmm.... does anybody else get the feeling they are trying to make everyone who takes the test feel good about themselves in some way?

Mine said the same thing, except that I'm a Visual Linguist. Ooooh, I'm all warm and fuzzy now. ;)

Apparently getting bored and randomly selecting answers will net you a 106.

102. Thought I did better

The way you think about things makes you an Intuitive Interpreter. This means you are a highly conceptual thinker. Rather than focusing on facts and figures, you look at the big picture. You are less inclined to need to walk through something step by step to understand the logic behind it. This also lets you make connections between something you learned three weeks ago and something you are learning today. While other people need those types of connections pointed out for them, you just naturally make them.

How did we determine that your thinking style is that of an Intuitive Interpreter? When we examined your test results further, we analyzed how you scored on 8 dimensions of intelligence: spatial, organizational, abstract reasoning, logical, mechanical, verbal, visual and numerical. The 3 dimensions you scored highest on combine to make you an Intuitive Interpreter. Only 6 out of 1,000 people have this rare combination of abilities.

141 for me
Intuitive Investigator
This means you have multiple talents and can do anything you set your mind to. You're able to detect numerical patterns easily and are able to grasp the true complexity of the world, both in its details and in a more abstract form. You've got a sharp logical mind and are adept at using words to get even a difficult point across. The combination of all these things makes you truly brilliant.

i can remember doin this 4 years ago but its changed since. seems a little better this time around

I don't know. But, my wife just informed me via email that if she gets the chance to bed the host of "Man, Moment, Machine," she will.

That's somewhat upsetting.

Taco John, your IQ score is 131

Your overall intelligence quotient is the result of a scientifically-tested formula based on how many questions you answered correctly. But it's only part of what we learned about you from your answers on the test. We also determined the way you process information.

The way you think about things makes you a Visual Linguist. This means you are highly intelligent and have many diverse talents. You have especially strong linguistic talents and are very good at interpreting visual information. You've got your feet on the ground, but your mind is capable of very complex, abstract thought. Compared to others, you are easily able to see situations from many different angles. You also understand how things work in a very practical way.

How did we determine that your thinking style is that of a Visual Linguist? When we examined your test results further, we analyzed how you scored on 8 dimensions of intelligence: spatial, organizational, abstract reasoning, logical, mechanical, verbal, visual and numerical. The 3 dimensions you scored highest on combine to make you a Visual Linguist. Only 6 out of 1,000 people have this rare combination of abilities.
