He's actually been pretty funny.
The playing football with the kids, though predictable, was pretty damn funny.

I think the presidential seal should be a real live seal.

I'd like to bring the troops home, but I have a real small apartment... and it's in Baghdad.

Jack Abramoff? But I hardly know Abram.

And Calhoun was amazing as usual. Might be the best character on SNL right now.

That was a good episode, even though it fell into the "So Stupid It Was Funny" category, i loved the 300 sketch..."Throw The Rock Mitch!!!"

I was somewhat impressed with Manning's performance. GoChiefs' woman looked tastey.

As much as I dislike Mangina, that United Way skit and his commercials are pretty funny.

Even if Manning were a Chief, and he was my favorite all time Chief, I still wouldn't watch SNL.

Have to say though, that skit is funny.

'SNL' plays heavily off of Manning's wholesome image

By Mark Alesia
Indianapolis Star

NEW YORK — There had been a late change in the monologue, and just before the nation was about to see Peyton Manning as host of Saturday Night Live, the Indianapolis Colts quarterback wanted to make sure he had something straight.

Seth Meyers, a cast member and one of the head writers, said Manning wanted to make sure it was OK to say "ass."

"I said to go ahead," Meyers recalled on his way out of NBC Studios. "I didn't really know if it was OK. I just wanted to hear him say it.".....

From 2003:

"I am Tim Calhoun, and I am running for candidate for President for America. My candidacy is based on honesty, so there are a few things about me you should know. I've been in jail. It's not important how many times, but if you must know... I'd say... one, two, thirty-one times. There are times when I'm not gay at all. But then there are other times I'm so gay it more than makes up for it. Here's where I stand on the issues: I'm glad that drunk driving is illegal. When I am drunk, I drive like crap. I propose that for scientific testing purposes, we breed a type of midget even smaller than the normal midget. We can call them Shetland Midgets. There's nothing on this card. In conclusion, and in summary, read my lips: (whispering gibberish). I think that says it all. Vote for me, Tim Calhoun, for Candidate for President for America for goodbye."

I liked the episode a lot. This is coming after an episode that was really bad, even though it shouldn't have been (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).

Manning was the best athlete to host SNL. He did a damn good job. The United Way commercial was hilarious, the NCAA tourney, Sittting on the porch drinking a cup of Joe very funny stuff.
