Assuming Trent gets traded, that could be an interesting one. It's a Thursday night game on ESPN.

That first series would be a real nail biter.

Trent Green suffers a concussion on the first drive of the game, after he trips on the center and then Kendrell Bell slips on the turf and lands on Green to record his first sack as a Chief.

First Dolphins series, third play, Tamba Hali blindsides Green and plants him hard at the 15 breaking his colar bone and causing career ending concussion. Ouch.

OR...
Trent goes to Chambers deep, law slips, and the pass is dead-on accurate for a touchdown.

Dante Hall fields the kickoff, runs to the 20 and proceeds to go in reverse to the 5, where Croyle takes over. First pass goes to Jason Taylor for a touchdown.

We got a nice preseason home schedule - Miami and New Orleans are attractive games.

What the hell? Doesn't the NFL usually give us Seattle during the preseason to renew the old AFC West rivalry?

Since when did the Chiefs have a rivalry with the Seahawks?

LMAO

Just to be thorough, we should also include the scrimmage with the Vikings on that list. That'll bring on the first meltdown of the season, if last year is any indication.

"This fan report from the scrimmage says they couldn't cover any WRs!!!!!! FIRE GUNTHER!!! HERM SUCKS!!!!"

Frankly, if I had the choice of our team destroying Trent's career and health, or our team getting destroyed in a preseason game, I would rather get beat in the meaningless game.
