He's a great dude and he would probably fit in well, he's selling his house and moving back to missouri.. (take that Peter King) :)

If he's signing for league min and playing DT.......that's the only way he fits a cover 2 and he's also aging and rapidly declining.

Can't play DT.. :shake: no way no how..

He can be a pretty decent situational pass rusher if he stays healthy..

I wanted this guy as Allen's backup at the start of FA.

BTW, Joe, your sig is too tall.

Anything is better than Hicks as a backup.

RealSNR

Unless we moved Sims to DE. Then Hicks would be better.

Actually, both Sims at DE and Eric Hicks are better than Siavii at DE.

So Hicks isn't the worst thing. But Winstrom is still much better than Hicks.

I got no problem with Wistrom, for maybe a one or two year deal.

Well, at least he played back when that meant something...

Does he pass rush as well as Gordon hits? (.045 average)

He's gotta be my favorite Blackshirt. That 97 defense knew how to move the ball backwards. Yeah, I know someone will mention the Mizzou game. Btw, I read that the coaches are optimistic Bowman will return before the home opener.

Of course the coaches are optimistic, they know they're screwed without him. :) Anyway, I wouldn't bet on it. I hope we don't have to sit thru another season watching Grixby being abused.

Grixby would probably start, but Armando Murillo is already on campus. He wouldn't have the steep learning curve Andre Jones had last season.

Doesn't help much, doesn't hurt.

Pretty much replacing suck with decent.

Sounds fair enough. Rome wasn't built in a day...

If he's coming back to MO to play he's signing with the Lambs again.

Why, so he can try to be scary with his white boy fro and do nothing?

1 year deal incentive based.

I'd take Wistrom in a heartbeat. Solid performer, would supply excellent depth. Seriously, unless it was too much money, I can't see a reason NOT to sign this guy.

He doesn't fit the profile anymore.

Old profile - "Used to be a Ram"

New Profile - "Young and unproven"

:)

Besides, we already signed our old guy for the year.:):)

That said, if he were to agree to a cheap base with incentives, I don't see how we could go wrong.
