Jason just pimped his AOL column (with another take on the Imus situation) coming out later today. He said it was about time to ask Jesse Jackson to step down. He said they were the defacto "president and vice president of black America" but that they were acting like supreme court justices with lifetime appointments. Laura interjected a positive comment about the "true Horatio Alger story" of the one black who is really on the supreme court (Clarence Thomas) and then the show went to break.

I was on the edge of my seat to hear how Jason was going to respond to the mention of Clarence Thomas because I suspect he's not a big fan, but the potential fireworks were scuttled by the break. :(

jwhit, what thoughts crossed your mind at that point?

All in all, I thought it was a good interview on both people's part. Jason made a lot of conservative friends with that interview whether he wants them or not.
