I guess if winning the SB is your sole indicator of whether a team sucks or not, then maybe you're right. But anyone with a brain can see that the Chiefs are competitive and have been for around 20 years, while the Royals have embarrassed Kansas City for that long with numerous last place and 100+ loss seasons.

The Chiefs are "competitive" if and only if you're fine with winning meaningless regular season games while going for more than a decade without a single playoff win. But, hey, a lot of people were snowed-over by Martyocrity, not just here, but in San Diego.
