So, we had a half-dozen guys from Orange County who are all pushin' 40 years old, road trippin' to Vegas. So, how edgy could we get? Not very. But I told everyone they had to do this before we could enter town...

At State line, there's a roller coaster that's 22 stories tall. When they built it, it was the tallest and fastest (95mph) in the country.

It's at this cheesy casino with a bar where they serve $1 drafts and hot dogs. So, I said we all had to down 2 drafts and eat a dog. Then some genious added that we all had to do a Jaegermeister shot on top of that (he's the guy in the background trying to flash "The shocker" through the entire ride)

Three of the guys chickened out of going on the ride.

I shot video, it's pretty damn shaky (the thing says it reaches 8 G-forces) but I figure the setup and the sound alone are worth a laugh. If you ever get a chance to ride this thing, go for it, the first drop alone is damn punishing.

Need to mount a SAW on the front end of that coaster to make the experience complete.

Or the chick from Deathproof.

We stopped in to Oshea's. It''s across from Caesar's. That little stretch on that side (Flamingo-Oshea's-Imperial Palace-Harrah's) is the last tiny ghetto sliver remaining on the strip. Oshea's is cool. There was an 80's cover band playing Social Distortion  and cheap tables, the cocktail waitresses were on it. My beer was never empty.

Though the whole casino has a "Blackjack pays 6 to 5" policy.

I didn't realize how sh!tty that was until I got a blackjack with 50 bucks out there. They paid me 50 and then 10 extra (instead of 25 extra). That seemed like a big drop. WEAK!
