GoChiefs comparison may seem crazy but I can see the similarities with TO. As a player right down to the hands/concentration drop issue. From what I have read on LSU boards he is pretty vocal and confident as well but it is not of the TO narcissistic variety.

From the video ive seen, he reminds me of Hines Ward. He likes to block, can catch over the middle, has fun while playing, and bounces off of tacklers the same way. Its almost uncanny to me. I watch Hines every week almost, the Steelers are always on at my house.

So he reminds me of someone who probably will only make the team because he is a first round pick.

Might catch 7 passes.

And will be in Canada (if he's lucky) by 2009.

His hands are the only thing at issue. He is hardly slow for his size and the only place I have seen that at lest infers that he doesn't run crisp routes is Scott Wrights profile that hasn't been updated in months.

When I see videos of Bowe he reminds me of Javon Walker.

They both can run after the catch and seem to play a physical brand of football.

I checked out Javon Walker on NFL.com and Bowe is actually bigger.

He's just a specimen.

I'm so excited to finally have big WR. Even when he's covered, throw it up and let the big guy out muscle the CB for the ball much like we do with Tony.

Finally getting away from the DV type of WRs. PBJ

How do you define "a lot"? He's basically 1 inch taller than Boldin and weighs the same.

Anyways, i'm talking about their playing style, not comparing what they look like. I watched many LSU games the past two years and I always saw some Anquan Boldin in Bowe. He's a gamebreaker that has the strength to be physical with DBs.

Body catches are likely to occure when you can't see the damn ball. Late reaction time, etc. I'm betting the lasik procedure will help with this issue.

I see him as a quicker Anquan Boldin. I can only hope.

Here's a little blurb I had saved about Bowe from before the combine:

He has great size, he is very strong, and what’s even better about him is that he knows how to use his size to get space. How about steady progression? In his first season with LSU, nine catches for 106 yards. Year two: 39 grabs for 592 yards and five scores. Year three: 41 snags, 710 yard sticks, and nine scores. And in his final season for the Bayou Bengals Bowe exploded for an impressive 65 touches, 990 yards, and 12 scores. And not one time in four years did Dwayne Bowe fumble. Zero. I don’t mean that he didn’t lose any fumbles; I mean that he literally Did-Not-Fumble. The guy just knows how to get better. How to learn from the previous year and come back better. Also, do not overlook perhaps the most important part of all of that. He was in school for four years. He is polished. He also had his two best seasons as a collegiate athlete during a change in offensive scheme; on a team that doesn’t run the ball a lot. The moral: Everyone knew they were throwing it to number 80, but they could not do anything about it. Also, did I mention that he played in the toughest, fastest, and nastiest conference in the NCAA?

StcChief

Technically, that made for a 4 point difference. We lost the game by 10.

Technically, he made the difference between playing with the lead and playing tied with the opposition in possession. A lead that remains even when the opposition kicks that 4th field goal.

That is BIG.
