Two memories from that horrific playoff loss. Crappy receivers and an absolutely embarrassing missed field goal. Time for Tynes to go.

Mason Crosby
Height: 6-11/4 | Weight: 212 | 40-Time: 5.25

Official Bio

Strengths:
Has an outstanding leg...Can hit from well beyond 50 yards and has a career long of 60...Accurate and rarely misses the ones he's supposed to make...Phenomenal on kickoffs and creates a lot of touchbacks...Clutch and doesn't let pressure affect him...Has a lot of experience...Intangibles are excellent...Can also punt in a pinch.

Weaknesses:
Kicked in high altitude with thin air but also hit a lot of long kicks at sea level as well...Will have some kicks blocked here and there...Has room to smooth out and refine his technique...Is so good coaches tend to let him try unrealistic attempts.

Notes:
Father, Jim, was a fullback at Texas-El Paso in the mid-1970s...Was the runner-up for the Lou Groza Award in 2005 as a junior...Superstitious and has to hit at least 60 golf balls at a driving range two days before a game...Best kicking prospect to come along since Mike Nugent and might be the highest chosen since Sebastian Janikowski back in 2000...A rare prospect who is a true weapon on special teams.

I like that pick, but the Chiefs already have two Ks signed.

Is there a 4th round pick?

Kicker? No way. Find them in undrafted pool.

CB,RB,OL.....QB?LB?

Antonio Pittman is still on the board......so is David Irons....there's some guys out there still that can be solid picks for us.

if Medlock from UCLA is still there in the 7th or something, i would take him in an instant. He is a freakin monster and would be a steal in the 7th, i would say.

Once we trade Trent there will be.

I wouldn't mind. F Tynes.

I might consider Medlock with a 5 or 6........

I think the Chiefs should also look at Steve Breaston as a late pick.

No 4th and "no" to a K even if we did have one.

No to Crosby, but I'm estatic if we take Medlock in the 6th or 7th.

Apparently you weren't at the RCA dome on that fateful day listening to dozens of Colts fans in your section repeatedly yell "DOINK!" in your general direction.

And this is your basis for wanting to DRAFT A KICKER IN THE 4TH round? Nein Tynes is a lot better than most out there...those fans were just taking out their frustrations from other fans saying "DOINK" when Vanderjagt chocked so many times
