Yes and the long snapper

I don't see Holmes coming back nor do I see Brown making the roster this year. I would guess Ross is our 3rd RB unless we take one tomorrow.

Wilson should be ahead of Grigsby on the depth chart at FB.

I'm guessing we only keep 5 WRs- Gardner gets cut and maybe Hannon if we take a WR tomorrow.

Maxey probably makes the roster this year and we have to get at least one CB tomorrow.

Okay, I take back the "frick'n" part then. You're still a moron though. I'm pretty sure you already knew that.

Brutal. But may I remind you that we featured Boomer on our last cover, and he remains on the roster.

Hannon won't be cut.
In no scenario? You really think Hannon is that good? I find that difficult to believe. What if we draft another WR tomorrow? Getting one high draft pick certainly hasn't transformed one of the worst WR groups in the league into a team strength.

DenverChief
04-29-2007, 12:24 AM
Disagree.

Just to nit pick a little bit

Kennison/Bowe -- Bowe/Kennison -- they will always be on the field at the same time

I completely forgot about Dunn

Your saying our STARTING RT is going to be a day 2 draft pick?

McBride WILL be STARTING in Allens absence and I'd love it if he did better than Allen

Bell Doesn't have the speed necesary to play MLB in this system

I thought Sapp was gone?

the Chiefs will carry 4 safeties

OMG - kiss of death for poor Boomer. It's a shame. Hopefully he'll use the contacts he's made to become a coach or something. Maybe a pro-bowl LB for the Saints. Anything but a wrestler.

DenverChief

I don't see Holmes coming back

I think if he is healthy he could be a great situational back ...but we shall see...why would we still have him on the team if he was done? This will be his second year removed from action

Nitpick all you want. That's why we're here.

Kennison will be the #1 receiver for most of this season, if not all of this season. If it's a depth chart, it's a depth chart.

Yeah, starting RT is going to be a pick I bet. I'm not saying that's a good thing.

McBride has a lot going for him but Allen will be impossible to unseat at DE.

Neither did Mitchell, but if Harris goes down we need somebody who's a natural MLB who has the size and some ability. He fits the bill as a backup.

We resigned Sapp.

If they carry 4, they carry 4. Right now they only have 3 and I doubt they'll draft one.

If the Chiefs cut him they can kiss the pro-rated portion of his bonus goodbye. If he retires he can kiss the pro-rated portion of his bonus goodbye. They're at a stalemate.

The Chiefs aren't going to give up on him without giving him a chance. He's the fastest guy on the team. At the very least, he's an outstanding gunner. He's getting a shot at punt returns too.

It's an injury settlement but that's a two-way street. Both parties have to agree. Presumably they don't.

Question:

Why do people hate Kris Wilson?

Is it because he didn't pan out at TE?

Do we not want a FB who is athletic who can catch?
Were the 3 TD catches not good enough for a FB? (keep in mind he came in mid season and it was hist 1st year)
Were we throughly unimpressed with his blocking? Because I saw a guy who blocked well.

I just don't get it.

Now we want Boomer at FB over Wilson? Where's the candid camera because this must be a joke?

we? Last I heard Herm and Company had decided they wanted to try Grigsby at FB and with his athleticism and frame he could be an outstanding FB...so

Keep Boomer for special teams and backup MLB, Wilson should be the fullback, and a situational TE, with Tony G & Dunn as #1 & #2 TE's.

Believe we still have Wesley to backup Page at FS and Pollard at SS.

Kennison will be the #1 and Bowe the #2, Parker is better suited to slot WR due to his lack of size and speed is key for a slot WR.
