Baron Davis has put on one of the most incredible one man shows I've seen in the NBA in the 21st century.

This team is the worst machup for Dallas ever, they have athletic bigs and Don Nelson knows everything about all their players.

This is an awesome series! I love the NBA.

If Golden State doesn't close it out in 5, they will do so in 6.

That crowd makes Arrowhead look like a nursing home. Freaking loud!

Dallas is lucky that not very many teams have the athletes up front that GS does but they got them in the first.......

It's all about matchups, Dallas is a great team the best in the league but GS has the matchups on them.

I digress the Suns would take on the Rockets or Nuggets first.

The Warriors fans are like Chiefs fans in a lot of ways. Rabidly passionate, and they have the loudest stadium in the league. They support that team come hell, high water, or choking the piss out of your coach.

Except for the hell or high water part see Arrowhead circa late 70's till 88 or so

Can you imagine the scoring?! 150-155 or something like that ROFL I hope the Warriors pull off the upset.

Yeah, but this is the Modern NFL with constant media coverage. Apples and Oranges.

 That's sad when the 2 seed fan says "I'd rather play the 1 seed than the 8."

Not really the Suns match up more favorably with the Mavs than the Warriors. Then again if the warriors do complete the upset they might be 'content' and 'relax'. Either way I want this series to go 6 or 7

I actually think that Stoudamire would destroy the Warriors interior.

Denver consistently sold out Mile High when we had losers for years upon years. So not really.

Seattle must be pleased by this if GS pulls it off. Gets them off the books for having the worst postseason collapse in NBA history.

Terry makes all the noise for that Dallas team. Terry is the guy the Mavs use to break the Spurs down time and time again.

Against Golden State, Terry has been completely negated. He hasn't been a factor in any of the games, and Dallas can't get anything moving because of it.

If it weren't for Jerry Stackhouse shooting the lights out, Dallas wouldn't have been in this game.

I think the Suns and Warriors split the season series. Same thing with the Mavs but 1 game against the mavs was beginning of season and both teams were struggling. So like I said in another post I want this series to go as long as possible. 7 games would be great.

You gotta credit Nelson for this. He coached Dirk before and he seems to know what defensive assignments to really mess up his rhythm.

It is insanely fun here in San Franciso-Oakland Area cheering for the W's & stuffing shut Barkley's big mouth! Baron Davis is playing like a MVP!!

You gotta credit Nelson for this. He coached Dirk before and he seems to know what defensive assignments to really mess up his rhythm.

The Warriors are the perfect team defensively to play against Dirk. They can throw two or three guys at him at once, yet still have the athleticism to recover when Dirk passes to an open guy.

Golden State is playing inspired defense. They put five excellent athletes on the floor at a time and all of them are going max speed every moment. Their switching and scrambling is damn near inspirational. It has Dallas totally out of sorts, not sure when to drive and when to shoot. They're missing shots they normally hit and turning the ball over with abandon.

I knew Golden State could score. Their defense is the revelation in this series. Dallas' raw scoring has been okay, but considering the incredible pace of these games, the Warriors have really held Dallas down, offensively. Even guys like Harrington, Pietrus and Ellis, who aren't exactly filling up the box score, are hustling and adding to the defensive chaos.

The Mavericks are melting to the pressure the Warriors are putting on them, just like in last years finals. So much for that 60 plus win season. So much for people trying to compare this Mavericks team to the Bulls 72 win team. The Mavericks are the Pistons of last season. Only difference is the Mavericks won't even make it out of the 1st round.

This has been a fun series to watch. The Warriors took 5 in a row going into this series (including '05 before the trade with the Pacers and Nelly's return).

There are a lot of sub-plots.

* Nelly's son works for the Mavs.
* Nelly is suing Cuban for his final paycheck as the Mavs Coach
* The Warriors last playoff appearance had Avery Johnson as the point guard and Chris Mullin (Warriors GM who just brought back Nelly) 12 or 13 years ago
* The Oakland crowd chanting Cuban sucks on Friay night and then Cuban waving them on
* No 8 seed never beating a 1 seed since the best of 7 round 1 started

On Friday the anouncer said whoever won tonight would win the series. I think he was right.

GS used to be in SF but they moved to Oakland and wanted to play both sides of the fence. Sometimes they where their throwback jerseys that say The City on them referring to SF.

They won a Championship with Rick Berry, who I am told, ranks up there with Barry Bonds in a personality measure.

It has been weird because I am a Laker fan and I have been paying more attention to this series than the disaster vs. Phoenix. On a side note I wish we would trade Bynum for Kidd or Garnet before Kobe's window closes.

I told everyone in FW that this was going to happen( Dallas losing blowing it in the playoff and to GS). But oh no they're just a bunch of Dallas homers I swear. If warriors take it in 5 I'll really be laughing it to the bank.
