Chiefs still don't have a QB or much of an OLINE. Sounds a lot like Oakland.

We don't?

That doesn't appear to be in chronological order. You left out signing McIntosh.

If Green refuses to play for KC like he is claiming then no. Huard has proven he is a good backup but not a starter and Croyle is an unknown just like Russell. So no KC doesn't have a good QB.

I have added McIntosh now, and it's in no sort of order, just what came to mind.

You didn't type a good QB, you said a QB. KC has plenty of QBs.

There's a big thread called Chiefs' Free Agency Moves and Draft Repository (http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=159257) stickied to the forum that probably has everything you're looking for in the very first post.

Unknown = Not good?

Yes Croyle will have a lot of improving to be considered good as in his short time last year almost completed more passes to the other team vs his own. If KC is hoping Croyle is the guy they will be lucky to win 7 games. QB is worst position to rely on a guy who is basically a rookie.

Who will win more games in their first full season, Croyle or Russell? My guess is Brodie.

Wouldn't a "good backup" be someone who steps in for the starter when there's an injury and is able to rally the team to several victories as long as he needs to? If he does it for as long as Huard did last season, wouldn't it be alright to say that you could put that guy in for an entire season and he'd play at the same high level for those six games?

That's the whole point of being a back up. You're required to step in on a 5 minutes notice during the game and make sure the offense doesn't skip a beat. If you can do that for a few games, why not as a starter?

The new kicker needs to get into a bar fight again this off season so Tynes won't pick on him. I hope he smokes cigarettes on the field too like the dude in The Replacements.

You just answered your own questions. Sure Huard put up decent number against scrub teams and played well with not a lot of pressure since he was the backup. If he does become the starter it's a different type of pressure, he will be hearing the whispers from the fans to start Croyle, etc. He has been tried as a starter before and it didn't work out.

Well, he beat San Diego, Seattle, and St. Louis in St. Louis. Those were hard games and he played well in all of them.

EWW that's actually not an easy call, could be pretty close.....4-7 range.

Let's not get carried away.

The defense staked him a 17 point lead in the SD game, and we still needed a bomb from Tynes to win it.

Seattle was playing without Hasselbeck AND Alexander

St Louis has one of the worst defenses in recent memory.

2 of 3 games at Arrowhead.

My point was he played well in those games. You agree? In fact he played well in every game but the last start against Miami.

What is left undone is finding a nickle cornerback.
