Does anybody honestly believe this isn't essentially this year's NBA Finals now that the Mavs are out of the picture?

Only the Pistons could scare either team IMO.

How do you route for either team. They are full of foreigns. Duncan is from the virgin islands, then you have Parker and Ginobli. Steve Nash is canadian and then you have Barbosa. I am for whatever player has the most American players, which appears to be the Suns.

Because I don't suffer from a nationalistic inferiority complex, and can root for people who may or may not have been born in the same country as myself.

Maybe if these American thugs could learn the fundementals of the game like shooting a jumper, playing good defense, and rebounding then we could actually root for a few of them..

Go Spurs Go!!!

I only really think Golden State is as fun as the Suns are. The Nuggets, too, when they were on their hot streak at the end of the year.

AS long as a team is a consistent winner, i could care less what style they play.

The Spurs play great D.

I'm pulling for the Suns now that the Mavs are out of the picture. I would love to see a Bulls/Suns Finals.

BTW, what all teams are left? I know in the West you have the Warriors, Suns, and Spurs. Who won between the Rockets and Jazz? I assume that will be the Warriors opponent.

Let's see, in the East it is Pistons, Bulls, Nets, and ...?

I hate players who do that, I really think that it should be a foul like the NHL has a penalty for diving. You should get personal fouls for flopping it would put an end to that garbage.

I wouldn't be surprised if Nash has a broken nose. Look at Parker's forehead. Those two bumped each other hard.

Oh, and that was some solid thinking by Barbosa... First, Bruce Bowen rebounds the ball, but he lets Ginobli get it before he decides to FOUL with 32 seconds left on the clock down by 2... Then, he fouls Parker before it was inbounded. Sure it was an awful call and a blatant dive by Tony and you should never call it ever, but he shouldn't have put himself in that position.

i was at the game. fans wanted to kill the refs. there was a drunk spurs fan sitting behind us. what an asshole. after every play it was either "**** you phoenix" or "your overrated amare".

the refs screwed the suns but the suns had their opportunities. D'Antoni is going to cost the suns the series. he wants to push the ball up the court but he has the best low post defender on the bench in Kurt Thomas. Start Thomas over Jones and put him on Duncan. Amare stays out of foul trouble, Bell on Parker and the Suns wont give up offensive rebounds.

2 years in a row i have seen the suns lose series because of coaching. I hope mike gets a clue and it wont be 3.

Yeah, I'd love to see Raja Bell get called for all of his flopping.
in a league where you get 3 steps, can palm the ball, and run moving screens, i hope they never outlaw flopping. sure its lame but 99% of the league would dominate even the best defensive players.

now if the call traveling, palming and moving screens, its a fair trade off.

i hate the phoenix media. no one is going after the coaching, aside from the tech the suns got at halftime. they blame the players.... *sigh*
